It's a Wrap!

 

The 2012 Asigra Cloud Backup Partner Summit has finally come to a close this year. We would like to extend a very warm "Thank You" to everyone that attended this year, for what has been the best Partner Summit we've ever had!

The event started on Monday evening with a Welcome Reception where we all got to meet new friends, catch up with old associates and take in the spectacular panoramic skyline views of downtown Toronto.

While Monday was for settling in and having some fun, we were down to work on Tuesday with a day full of keynote speaker presentations, breakout sessions along with four different tracks and a very busy Hands-On-Lab.

All of our speakers this year presented programs that aligned with the Summit theme, "OutMarket, OutSell, OutPerform!" David Farajun, CEO and founder of Asigra led off the conference with a very personal address about the value of partnership. While our keynote speakers Tiffani Bova, Jeffrey Gitomer, and Rebel Brown all had very different presentations, one message came through for each – building relationships are the key to the success of our partners.

Many other speakers and individuals contributed to the overall success of the Asigra Cloud Backup Partner Summit this year as well, and we appreciate the time and effort that each underwent to be there.

This year we've seen attendees approaching the event's speakers and exhibitors with complex strategic and operational questions about how they achieve pre-defined objectives. They understand the channel, their customers and they know what they want to achieve.

While we all learned a lot, everyone had the opportunity to have fun getting to know each other (and wear silly costumes) at the offsite event at the Ballroom – probably THE swankiest bowling alley in all of Canada - while  we were entertained by a very convincing Marilyn Monroe impersonator.

We would also like to thank this year's sponsors, NetApp, 6Fusion and Artisan Infrastructure, for their participation at this year's event and for sharing insight and knowledge about how Asigra partners can leverage their technologies and hardware to better support their businesses.

Lastly, we couldn't have put on such a high-quality event without the talent and expertise of the Asigra team, from every department including Development, Quality Assurance, Partner Development, Partner Acquisition, Partner Marketing and Corporate Marketing. Without everyone's effort and hard work, we wouldn't have had such a successful event.

Next year the Asigra Cloud Backup Partner Summit will be held at the same great venue, but look out for some developments in the format and content too. We're constantly developing, and will introduce a number of new facets based on the feedback of your partners.

The highlight for us at Securstore was of course getting the Asigra Partner of the Year award. Overall it was a great summit, always nice to meet good people and hear all the exciting news from the Asigra team. The speakers were good, Gitomer was great. Thanks!
