Asigra SummitWe’re only a few days away from the 8th Annual Asigra Global Partner Summit and we couldn’t be more excited to meet with our partners in Toronto.

This year we have a stellar lineup of keynote and guest speakers. Are you ready to be inspired by Tiffani Bova, VP and Distinguished Analyst, Gartner; Marc Staimer, President, Dragon Slayer Consulting; Jill Rowley, Chief Evangelist #SocialSelling, Craig Cook, Director Cloud and Managed Services, Long View Systems; and Robert Rose, author, strategist, and storyteller?

Robert Rose will be hosting a complimentary, interactive workshop on Monday afternoon. You will learn content marketing strategies and tactics that you can put into practice to increase brand awareness and demand generation initiatives for your service. Please note advance registration is required to attend the workshop.

Whether you're a first-timer or a veteran, we've highlighted a few tips for you below to ensure you have the best experience at the Asigra Global Partner Summit.

1. Review the Agenda and Plan Ahead

There will be a lot going on, and you gain a lot more if you plan ahead. First, think about what you want to accomplish at the Summit then review the conference agenda thoroughly, and select the sessions that will be most likely to improve your skills and expand your knowledge. Don’t forget to add them to your calendar!

You can ask a colleague to become your conference buddy, so you can share what you learn. This collaboration will bring special benefits when you talk about presentations that only one of you attended.

Book a one-on-one meeting with your dedicated Partner Success Manager. There is still availability to book a private meeting about your sales or marketing plans, pricing strategies, or other business-related issues.

Make sure to visit our Hands-on Lab to test drive new product features and/or speak to our product specialists at the Asigra Genius Bar.

2. Register Early

You don’t want to be stuck at the registration desk while the sessions are running. Check in at our Registration Desk on Monday afternoon to avoid the line on Tuesday morning. Collect your name badge and welcome kit so you can minimize your time standing in lines and maximize your time learning and networking with your peers.

3. Arrive Early for the Keynotes:

We won’t hold breakout sessions during these presentations, so you won’t have to worry about missing out on anything else. Stay for the entire conference. You never know what good information you might miss by arriving late or leaving early.

4. Get social and have fun

This year we will celebrate the opening of the Asigra Global Partner Summit at the CN Tower, while enjoying Toronto’s spectacular skyline. On Tuesday we have a cocktail reception and the annual Asigra Hybrid Partner Awards dinner to recognize excellence and outstanding achievements of our partners in generating demand for and delivering cloud backup services powered by Asigra. On the last day of the summit, join the conversation at our Birds-of-a-Feather Lunch where you can discuss up to 15 common topics and share knowledge and best practices with like-minded IT innovators.

5. Keep in touch

Make the effort to meet other Asigra Partners. There are partners who have been deploying cloud backup services powered by Asigra for more than ten years who have a wealth of knowledge to share. Networking and staying in touch with Asigra Partners is undoubtedly one of the best ways to learn more and continued to be inspired.

It’s a good idea to follow the other Asigra Partners on Twitter and Facebook to share stories and stay connected throughout the year. There are many friendships started at the Asigra Summit. Leverage the networking opportunities to the fullest to meet others who share common interests – you never know when you might need some support or help with a customer deployment or issue.

6. Make sure you visit the Asigra Backup Heroes (ABH) Table

If you are not an Asigra Backup Hero yet make sure you drop by the Marketing/ABH table at the summit and sign-up to join a community of engaged and active Asigra Partners. Limited time special offer: The first 25 partners who sign-up for Asigra Backup Heroes and write a product review on a third party website will receive a complimentary limited edition Asigra Backup Heroes t-shirt and be entered into a draw for a Sonos Speaker.

Follow us on Twitter @Asigra to stay up-to-date about the summit news, events, conversations and contests. Use #asigrasummit to share your experience with your friends and peers.
