Asigra European Partner Advisory Council Convenes To Discuss Cloud Backup Trends and Market Evolution

Asigra Inc., a leading Cloud Backup™, recovery and restore (BURR) software provider since 1986, today announced findings from its 2012 European Partner Advisory Council meeting which was held on 30th January 2012 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Focused on finding ways to further improve the user experience, the agenda included sessions on the importance of social media, marketing and sales in the cloud backup market, a roundtable on cloud backup and recovery, and an in-depth look at market trends.  

The Asigra European Partner Advisory Council includes 10 managed service providers who meet regularly to provide feedback to the Asigra management team. This includes information on product functionality, daily operations and end-user outreach. Additionally, these partners offer insight on vertical applications of Asigra’s Cloud Backup solution, regional variances and the impact of emerging technology trends on cloud backup usage and adoption.

Key areas of discussion during the January 2012 European Partner Advisory Council meeting included:

  • Identifying and resolving competitive dynamics
  • Mobile device evolution and support
  • Management challenges
  • Training and technical services
  • Examining dominant key trends.
