Asigra is furthering the Cloud Backup Recovery and Restore (BURR) Industry by educating the marketplace and driving demand for Cloud BURR solutions and services. Asigra has a proven track record of educating the end users through presentations, podcasts, leading and participating in panel discussions on Cloud BURR related topics. Through its leadership in SNIA’s Cloud BURR space Asigra has been very active in driving and evangelizing industry standards. Asigra chairs the Cloud Backup, Recovery and Restore (BURR) Special Interest Group (SIG) under Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA). The role of the group is to educate the market about Cloud BUR benefits through use cases and to define requirements for standards that are part of SNIA’s Cloud Storage Initiative (CSI). This Cloud BURR SiG is the voice of the Cloud BURR industry with members from all continents. It creates and promotes Cloud BURR best practices and educates the industry through collaboration with end users, the channel, analysts and Cloud BURR vendors.
