Equallogic and Asigra Team to Provide Disk-Based ROBO Backup/Recovery Solution

The technology partnership brings together EqualLogic’s PS Series SANs, delivering complete compatibility, high reliability and unparalleled scalability, and Asigra’s Televaulting agentless ROBO backup and recovery software for customers looking to implement a solution that offers scalable performance and capacity scaling for distributed data backup protection with built-in security and compliance features.

The EqualLogic PS Series SAN is modular and expandable (individual PS Series storage arrays can be added to the SAN on the fly) and has built-in functionality to perform snapshots and remote replication, making it an excellent storage platform for a DS-System. The Asigra Interoperability Lab certified EqualLogic’s PS Series storage arrays for use with its Televaulting software after validating performance and capacity.
