Asigra North American Partner Advisory Council Convenes To Discuss Cloud Backup Trends and Market Evolution
Asigra Inc., a leading Cloud Backup™, recovery and restore (BURR) software provider since 1986, today announced findings from its 2012 Partner Advisory Council meeting in Chicago. With the goal of improving the user experience, this year’s agenda included streamlining service provider interactivity with Asigra operations, reviewing customer requirements and understanding emerging industry trends expected to impact the cloud backup and recovery industry.
The Asigra Partner Advisory Council includes 12 service provider members who meet regularly with Asigra and provide feedback to the company’s management team. This feedback includes information on product functionality, daily operations and end-user outreach. Additionally, partners on the council provide insight on vertical applications of the technology, regional variances and the impact of emerging technology trends on cloud backup usage and adoption.

Key areas of discussion during the January 2012 council meeting included:

- ROI/TCO advantages and the business case for customers
- End-to-end data protection strategies
- Mobile device evolution and support
- Current macro-economic factors
