Business Development Representative
We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Business Development Representative. Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, you will be expected to acquire and manage Asigra partners within a defined North American region.
Asigra's software and support program enables IT Managed Service Providers (MSP’s) to build successful data protection practices that deliver high value Cloud Backup and Recovery services. This is achieved through a structured and consultative sales process whereby, working from our head office in Toronto, you will lead prospects through a series of discussions and presentations culminating in an evaluation and acquisition of the solution.

The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated ability to carry on a consultative dialogue with business owners and executives to uncover a prospects business needs and objectives. You will be skilled at effectively leveraging a unique value proposition to help a partner prosper their needs and achieve their objectives. You will be required to lead business discussions through phone and web meetings and also schedule / facilitate technical discussions with the assistance of a Solutions Engineer.
Other Competencies:
- University degree or two to three years related sales experience and/or training.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and confident dealing with all levels.
- A solid sales track record in the technology solutions industry, with knowledge of the backup/restore software market segment being a definite asset.
- High level of energy, persistence and strong desire to do whatever it takes to win.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed a sales quota consistently.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
- Solid understanding of business principles and practices.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in an ever changing, dynamic environment.
